I wanted to challenge myself for my analog experiment by working on an analog task for a week. Additionally, I wanted to write this blog post on one of the original forms of writing: a typewriter.

I love that you wrote this on the typewriter! I feel like this is something we rarely even consider since it is not as common to use them anymore, but we see typing as an experience associated with digital technology and anything else to be handwritten. However, when you are physically carrying out the action of typing, you forget it isn’t so easy to simply delete what you wrote, or have to deal with the lack of spell check. It is a feature so engrained in our (or my) perception of typing that I forget the luxury of having my mistakes pointed out for correction or automatically adjusted. It must have been a weird experience, but this was very cool!
The text looks so neat. How many takes did it take for you to get the final copy?
This was my first copy, I really just went for it! Definitely fell into a lot of struggles but it was so fun to use!
